Afternoon Grazers Fundraiser

Welcome to an afternoon of grazing and charity fundraising for Galahad's Sanctuary.

Lynne has a huge heart. She rescues animals who find themselves in distressing situations. She rehabilitates these animals through constant nurturing and providing them with a loving home where they can roam free, bond with fellow rescues and live out the rest of their lives in peace. Read their stories of liberation here.

Some of us visited Galahad's Sanctuary earlier this year and it warmed our hearts to meet the rescued camels, alpacas, donkeys, sheep, chickens, horses and cows. They are incredibly social and adore human interaction - especially when accompanied by carrots and weetbix. This beautiful 30-acre property out in country Victoria, with views of Mt Macedon sets the perfect scene for a picnic with your tour.

This fundraiser will help Lynne cover food and medical expenses for these beautiful souls.

What we will get up to:

An afternoon of fun, food and live music!

We will have a silent auction on several beautiful photos and artwork of the animals from the sanctuary.

There will be door prizes for the lucky ones. All you have to do is whisper the phrase "I never ever win anything, ever" to the right person. Who might that be? We'll let you figure that out ;)

And no fundraiser is complete without an entertaining raffle and the anticipation of some amazing prizes...

Tickets must be purchased online, before the event to ensure that we cater adequately for everyone. 

Your ticket includes:

Delicious finger food

A tour of Galahad's Sanctuary where you can meet, greet and even feed the gorgeous rescued animals*(see details below)

A glass of prosecco or soft drink on arrival

Adults and anyone over 12 yrs of age $45

Kids 5yrs to 12 years ticket at $35

Kids below 5 years enter for free (drink not included) - use the discount code 'micro'

Tickets must be purchased online, before the event to ensure that we cater adequately for everyone. 

***Note that the fundraiser and sanctuary tour are on different dates and different locations. The fundraiser is at Vegie Tribe in Melbourne and the sanctuary tour is at.....well it will take place at the sanctuary in Gisborne, up north near Mt Macedon. When you purchase your ticket you will be asked to choose a future date for your sanctuary tour.***

Please choose a date for the sanctuary tour:

October 21st, 11.30am to 1pm

October 28th, 11.30am to 1pm

November 4th, 11.30am to 1pm

November 11th, 11.30am to 1pm

Lynne will provide you with carrots and weetbix on your tour, should you choose to feed the animals. 

If you are unable to attend any of these dates, you can request for an alternative option at an added cost. The cost for running smaller/private tours is higher than a group tour.

In case of extreme weather the tour will be rescheduled to a more suitable date - we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible. Your contact details will be shared with Lynne for the purpose of coordinating the tour.
