🧶Delve into yarn therapy with this super easy knitting lesson!

Suitable for adults & children, 10 years & up. Seats are very limited so any accompanying children or adults will need to buy a ticket.

In recent years knitting & crochet have gained even more popularity due to its calming effects on anxiety & stress. While the repetitive action engages the pre-frontal cortex of the brain, it pauses the mental chatter we all experience - like meditation, but with colours, shapes & fluffy textures!

Hands-on learning in a supportive & nurturing environment. A small group size so everyone feels comfortable to move at their own pace. As everyone has different learning styles - along with group demonstrations, individual attention will also be given to those feeling unsure.

What to bring:

• Your workshop registration email - digital or printed

• Scissors. It will be provided but some people like to use their own.

• Water bottle - keep hydrated!

Our beginner friendly Knit Kit was created especially for this workshop. The kit includes:

• 700gms spool of yarn (each spool is between 700gms to 1kg)

• 1x pair of bamboo knitting needles to match the yarn

• Yarn cutter

• 10x stitch markers

• 2x yarn needle - for sewing together separate pieces

• 1x portable yarn holder - so you can knit on the go

• 1x zippered pouch to protect your small tools

• 1x tote bag to hold & transport your craft goodies
