Learn skills for a lifetime in a supportive and nurturing environment. As everyone has different learning styles, along with group demonstrations, individual attention will also be given to those feeling unsure.

Class structure:

-Demonstration

-Individual attention

-Practice. Guidance. Practice.

What makes this class special:

-Very small groups so each student gets more attention.

-You are encouraged to make mistakes and move at your own pace.

-Hands on workshop. Learn by doing.

-This class focuses on building muscle memory so that you retain what you have learnt

-All participants receive an elaborate, beginner-friendly Knit Kit to take home.

Suitable for adults and children, aged 10+ years.

Hosted by Vegan Yarn and Cause & Events.

What to bring:

• Your workshop registration email - digital or printed

• Scissors. It will be provided but some people like to use their own.

• Water bottle - keep hydrated!

Our beginner friendly Knit Kit was created especially for this workshop. The kit includes:

• Large spool of yarn (each spool is between 700gms to 1kg)

• 1x pair of bamboo knitting needles to match the yarn

• Yarn cutter

• 10x stitch markers

• 2x yarn needle - for sewing together separate pieces

• 1x portable yarn holder - so you can knit on the go

• 1x zippered pouch to protect your small tools

• 1x tote bag to hold & transport your craft goodies
