Shenanigans in detail
Welcome to our second Vegan Women’s Networking event.
Although, we call it networking, this event is a lot more than just forming new connections...
Our theme for this evening is the Japanese principle of Kintsugi: turn your weaknesses into strengths and use your strengths to co-create the life you want.
In some ways this event will serve as an extension of our first event theme: Finding Your Why. But in many ways it will shed light on new approaches to co-creating the life you dream for yourself. Not to worry if you didn't attend our previous women's networking event. We will make sure you are all caught up before we delve further into our discussion on Kintsugi.
For some of you, co-creation could mean starting your own business or a side-hustle but you may have been overwhelmed by fear or confusion. For others it may mean living in alignment with your true calling, but you might struggle with daily obstacles or motivation.

Business inspiration & empowerment
It takes A LOT of self-discipline, motivation and resilience to run your own business. That is why Donna Fowler, co-founder of Warbotanicals will talk about how she established and grew her business of botanical self-care products. Her products are well loved across Melbourne and all over Australia. Armed with witty charm and a cheeky sense of humour, Donna will be your business guru for the day.
Personal & spiritual empowerment
Our second guest speaker will be Amanda Leigh Walker, famously known as the co-founder of Melbourne’s iconic Lord Of The Fries. But she is also a motivational speaker, empowerment coach and a key source of inspiration behind bringing vegan women together. Amanda will speak to these topics and facilitate guided exercises towards discovering your strengths and finding power in your weaknesses. You can learn more about her work on her website.
A fabulous afternoon of women connecting and supporting each other:
- We welcome you with a glass of Prosecco…
- We will meet, greet and mingle for a while before we sit down for a variety of scrumptious foods, including salads, mac n' cheese, fries, sliders and even desserts…
- The gorgeous Amanda will guide us through a short meditation before Donna takes the reigns as the wise fairy biz-mother.
- Interactions from our incredible participants are encouraged. We would love to hear about your journeys and your inspiration.
- Amanda will continue the inspiration with self-empowerment exercises and mentoring.
- Following this we will enjoy luxurious desserts during our Q&A session. Feel free to prepare questions in advance or allow your heart to guide you on the day.
- A dedicated space to promote the goods and services of our attendees. A fabulous opportunity to support vegan business women, seek advice and make new friends. Please bring along anything you would like to share or promote - flyers, products etc.
We will share our love and support for each other as we wrap up our time together.
